The Selection - Kiera Cass
I will do a review on a book. I really love to read and I chose to speak of my favorite serie of books: The Selection : a trilogy of books with the genre novel and sci-fi .
The story is set in Illéa, a young country divided into castes that separate the poor from the rich. one of the few ways a girl up caste with his poor family is by The selection, a contest among 35 girls who will compete by the hand of the prince . The story about the life of America Singer, a poor girl, caste five, which is choosed to go to the castle to try their luck to win the selection. The story is told in three books called : The Selection , The Elite and The One , respectively.
In my opinion this is one of the best love stories I've ever read. I identify with America in the first book because she's stubborn, rude and graceful at the same time. Prince Maxon is a gentleman, it irritated me a little the first few times I read, but with time and with the passage of history I guarantee that it is impossible not to fall in love with him. It is also important to say that the author has bothered to count and describe all details that could do something does not fit into the reader's mind , a great literary work . It is a story full of fights, sadness and full of good times. The book is so good that makes the reader feel like you are really living with the characters. It is the best series of all, I wish everyone could read at least once. The book cover is also very delicate and pleasant .
